Memilih gaun pengantin yang sesuai dengan bentuk tubuh

Gaun seperti apa yah yang sesuai dengan bentuk tubuh kamu ? Basically, ada 4 body shape seperti gambar dibawah. Coba sekarang kamu ngaca-ngaca (hihihi), perhatikan bentuk tubuh kamu, terus cari definisi bentuk tubuh kamu dibawah ini.

Nah..setelah ketemu jenis bentuk tubuh kamu, silahkan terusin bacanya (kalo ngga ketemu ??)

1. Body "Jam Pasir"

Ini bentuk tubuh ideal yang di idam-idamkan kebanyakan wanita . Atas sama bawah besarnya seimbang, dan kecil di bagian tengah (perut)...selamat yah...#ngiri (Loh??). Kamu nyaris cocok pake gaun pengantin model apa saja. Kenapa saya bilang nyaris, karena ada baiknya juga proses pemilihan gaun tersebut disesuaikan dengan selera kamu, kepribadian kamu, dsb. Berikut model2 gaun yang cocok dan dapat menonjolkan kelebihan tubuh ideal kamu.

2. Body "Buah Pear"

Bentuk tubuh buah pear itu ciri-cirinya adalah besar dibagian bawah tubuh, dimulai dari pinggul, bokong, dan paha. Pilihlah gaun berbentuk A-Line, atau bisa juga Ball Gown yang dapat "mengecilkan" tampilan bawah bentuk tubuh kamu. Berikut model2 gaun yang cocok untuk Body pear. Berikan juga aksen/ detail pada bagian gaun yang lain untuk menarik perhatian ke bagian tubuh yang tidak menonjol.

3. Body "Buah Apel"

Bentuk tubuh lainnya adalah buah apel, dengan ciri-ciri besar di bagian atas tubuh, kebalikan dari bentuk tubuh buah pear. Pilihlah gaun yang model bagian atasnya V-neck (Kerah V) atau sweetheart (kerah tube berbentuk hati) untuk mengecilkan tampilan atas bentuk tubuh. Hindari gaun model strapless (tube rata) karena akan memberi kesan lebih besar. Berikut model gaun yang cocok untuk Body apel.

4. Body "segi empat"

Bentuk tubuh terakhir adalah bentuk tubuh yang dari atas ke bawah rata-rata aja, alias kurang lekukan (kurang bukan brarti ngga ada loo..hihihi). Banyak orang yang bilang body seperti ini tuh kaya body cowo, tapi jangan deh...(takut tersinggung,hihii) kita ganti aja jadi body atletis. Tips menyiasatinya adalah dengan mengalihkan pandangan ke bagian atas tubuh yaitu dengan memilih model gaun strapless, atau one shoulder dan empire waistline untuk bagian bawah gaun. Seperti contoh gambar dibawah ini.

5. Body "plus size"

Ini bentuk tubuh bonus yang spontaneously saya tambahin buat kamu yang dari awal baca sampe sekarang GALAU karena ngga menemukan bentuk tubuh yang udah disebutin diatas karena bentuk tubuhnya agak "plus" (saya ga mau sebut big) heeiiii just relax galss...saya juga mungkin bisa dibilang termasuk dalam kategori yang sama koq...(hihihi..). Ga usah stress mikirin bagaimana cara diet supaya dapet body jam pasir sebelum tanggal pernikahan.. , just be happy with what you have now and the most important, BE THANKFUL . Kurus atau gemuk yang penting kamu tetep jadi "Ratu Sehari" kaaann...dan yang penting adalah PEMBAWAAN kita. Kalau kamu PEDE, semua masalah penampilan mah...hal keciiilll. Put in your mind, "Beautiful is not about body size, but more about brain size" (betul gak? #cari dukungan..hahahaha). Coba aja liat model2 cantik dengan ukuran plus size dibawah ini.

So, gimana? Siap hunting gaun pengantin sekarang??

Kenapa gaun pengantin kebanyakan berwarna putih?

Hayooo kenapa coba? hihihihi. Kenapa ga Merah, Kuning, Fuschia, Emas, atau warna-warna nyentrik yang seharusnya bisa membuat si pengantin jadi pusat perhatian karena pake baju paling mentereng diantara yang lain?? Why? Why? Why...?? #withecho (ga penting)

Emang siapa sih sebenarnya yang pertama kali mempopulerkan gaun pengantin warna putih? Apa alasannya dan apa maknanya? Ternyata eh ternyata hasil googling saya menemukan satu jawaban bahwa "trendsetter" gaun pengantin berwarna putih tuh si Victoria (halaah sok kenal..wkwkwk) alias Victoria Queen of England pada tahun 1840, lihat gambar (booo jadul banget..).

Memang bukan Queen Victoria yang pertama kali pakai gaun putih pas pernikahan, ada 2 gambar yang konon dipakai sebelum tahun 1840:

2 Lady diatas merupakan pendahulunya si queen victoria, yaitu tahun 1832 & 1835.

Teruss, kenapa harus warna putih? Warna putih merupakan simbol dari kesucian, kemurnian, innocent, even keperawanan. Sebetulnya dijaman itu justru warna yang digambarkan sebagai kemurnian, dll itu adalah warna biru, namun sejak gereja di inggris kemudian mengganti warna simbolnya menjadi putih maka sang ratu kemudian memakai warna putih berikut maknanya untuk gaun pengantinnya, yang kemudian kita tau menyebar keseluruh pelosok dunia sampeeee sekarang. Even though sudah mulai banyak bermunculan gaun pengantin berwarna lain selain putih, tapi tetep aja warna putih itu mendominasi bahkan kayanya sudah menjadi suatu keharusan agar setiap pengantin menggunakan gaun putih, ya kan?? (minta dukungan, hihi). Bahkan sampe ada poem tentang wedding gown pada jaman itu :

“Married in White, you have chosen right

Married in Black, you will wish yourself back,
Married in Red, you will wish yourself dead,
Married in Green, ashamed to be seen,

Mitos seputar gaun pengantin berwarna putih ternyata ga berhenti sampai disitu aja. Ada lagi yang bilang kalau gaunnya ngga warna putih pas married brarti si pengantin udah ngga perawan atau kebalikannya kalau udah ngga perawan atau married yg kedua kali ngga boleh pake gaun warna putih. But anyways, itu semua cuma mitos koq...sekali lagi MITOS. Jadi, semua kembali lagi sama si calon pengantin dalam hal pemilihan warna gaun. Mudah2an setelah baca artikel ini, kalian yang masih takut memilih warna selain putih untuk gaun pengantin, just go ahead gals... selama kamu merasa nyaman, cocok, dan tetap percaya diri, go on...

Ada banyak pilihan lagu yang bisa dijadikan lagu pengantar atau backsound dari salah satu prosesi di hari pernikahan maupun yang akan dinyanyikan disepanjang acara resepsi. Dari bahasa indonesia, bahasa daerah, bahasa inggris, bahasa mandarin, bahasa jepang, dan bahasa2 lainnya yang pastinya saya ga ngerti  . Tapiiii..kadang2 (ga kadang2 deh, SERING) kita suka lupa untuk ngeliat lirik lagunya, apalagi kalau itu lagu berbahasa asing yang mungkiiiinnnn kita ga ngerti artinya as long as lagu itu menurut kita enak didenger dan dibawain.

Emaaangg...ga salah kalo kita mau milih lagu yang ga ada hubungannya sama "Tema" (wedding), sah-sah aja siiii...tapi, mungkin akan lebih baik lagi kalau kita memilih lagu yang cocok didenger dan cocok juga liriknya untuk mewakili perasaan di hari pernikahan yang pastinya berbunga2 . Saya pernah dateng ke sebuah resepsi pernikahan teman,sepanjang resepsi berjalan ada beberapa lagu yang saya tuh ngga SREG banget dengernya, sebenernya lagunya sih bagus, cuman kurang cocok aja kalau dibawain di acara wedding. Salah satu lagunya tuh, Saving All my love for you - Whitney Houston yang dari pertama liriknya aja udah "A few stolen moments is all that we share, You've got your family, and they need you there" saya langsung mikir "apa pria yg married sama temen saya sekarang itu suami orang??"hahaha...But, anyway that's just my opinion yah...dalam pelaksanaannya seperti tadi saya blg, mo bawain lagu apa aja, Bang Toyib, Keong Racun selama si penyanyi dan pengantin ga terganggu (tamu ga usah dipikirin), SAH-SAH AJA .

Ga semua love songs cocok loh...apalagi "hare genee" banyak lagu2 yang tema-nya cinta tapi nyleneh. Cinta sama selingkuhan, sephia, or whatever it called lah.... Finally, happy choosing yah .
